I use to make more money when I was 19-20 about five years ago. Now I have less time and more responsibility. I still do alright but this has always been a hobby for me, money is not everything.
everyone is into website design these days, i have just finish university also, and i think it was a waste of time as i have learnt a lot these pass month comparing to when i was at university.
Um, that's stunning bravado for a 12 year old! If it is true then you may actually be the coolest kid in the whole world...
cool , can you also do some front side kick and upper slide flying..hehehe i earned mere $1000 in CJ, 19 now
$1200 a month is spare change to a lot of people on here who would make that in a couple of days or less. And none of them see the need to post about it publicly on these forums. If you move out of your mum's bedroom, $300 a week won't get you very far in the real world. You should really spend less time talking cr@p and more time working on your "small company's" hahaha You must also be very talented to install a vB script for a website and call yourself a young entrepreneur.
Well, I'm 15 and I wouldn't necessarily call myself a "Young Entrepreneur" but I do make a good amount from selling websites at DigitalPoint and SitePoint. Unlike some other kids, I don't transfer the funds from PayPal to my bank account and go shopping as soon as I get my hands on $600+ from a sale, I invest it into building more sites and promoting my current projects. So.... what exactly does it take to classify someone as a "Young entrepreneur"?
Hey Guys, Im 16 and live in los angeles. I am doing about 4 figures a month right now. Mostly from ppc but some from adsense. Ethan
Why do you have to be a prick zucc? I never did anything wrong, I was just stating it wondering what everyone else my age was making. As for my Vb site, there are more custom mods on that thing than you could believe, not to mention that is just one of my sites. YOu didnt by chance look at bizlinked.com oviously. It is not done, but it certainly isnt a premade package. To sum it up... dont be a prick, I was just starting some convo.
OK, Im a little older than some of you guys at 27, but I wanted to comment on some of what has been said. If you are under 20, still in full time education, and making anything around $1000 a month part-time, and enjoy what you do (critically), then i think you should be happy with where you are, and potentially be proud of yourself (depending on how you achieved it). Back when I was 19, I was at uni and worked part-time as a chef and made about that a month and I remember it being a nice tidy amount for a student.
just started this year and probably would want to try gaining income through the web. i think experience over the web and meeting new people and learn from them and improving your skills makes me excited and would want to strive more! but im really not sure that relying on this will improve my lifestyle or makes me happy because im the boss... im planning to work on some big company and earn big bucks there while constantly improving my programming, design and marketing and then when i have enough money to start a business then i'll try to mix them all then hopefully the business will flourish...
It's amazing to me. I've started my online "business" work this month (on april 1, ) and I have learned a lot so far. I'm not averaging a lot in adsense (maybe .50$ daily) but I'm working toward 10$/day. It's only recently that I started dedicating myself to writing daily on my 4 differents blogs which makes it a daily ~1200 words to write, 300 words per subject. Writing unique content is fun since you can write about what you like but it can sometime be a pain in the ass when you're looking at a blank page with no ideas. I will generally go check out others websites for keywords or idea and I'll be back to my blog in 5 minutes writing a new article on the subject I found. It's amazing to me to see how much I know but I don't apply when doing my stuff. I feel like a weirdo when I give advice but don't apply them... My goal is to make enough money out of the web so I can live a decent life without having to care too much for money. I want to be able to buy what I want without having to make sure I have enough money to survive. If I can make a really big amount of cash, I'd start my own internet business with a couple of friends.
