Who's the domain registrar just second to Godaddy?

    My second choice is name.com

    and stay away from Network Solutions!
    they were caught scamming a lot of people who used their search out of their names.
    There were threads about it on here.

    My top choices are name.com and namecheap.com. I would place godaddy.com and network solutions bottom tier.

    Although godaddy has excellent deals sometimes, they usually try to make extra with upselling or charge you $$$ for features, mainly privacy guards. Network solutions ran into that problem a few years back, they tried to scam a friend of mine for renewal fees for $100+, and the snatching domains thing. Both companies do however have questionable motives, and are a bit disingenuous to its customers.

    I'm a fan of 1and1.com there quick and cheap. And last I checked gave discounts for multi year registrations

    Godaddy has become very heavy due to huge flash things.. some times i find it hard to access it with 1MB BB
