    I'm looking for a writer for a health site and a golf site. Please PM me with a portfolio of your work, your usual turn around time and your rates. Thanks!

    What does your specific gig and niche have to do with who the best writers on DP are? This is just an ad... post it in the content creation forum where it belongs; not copywriting (which is for discussion).

    Why would a writer slam a possible client like that? Yes, the headline may not have perfectly aligned with the post - maybe that's why he is soliciting a writer's help! I'm guessing it won't be you.

    What makes you assume they're a possible client? They certainly wouldn't be in my case as A) they're not in my niche and B) in 99% of cases, I don't accept article writing gigs from webmasters. If you want to post ads here, follow the rules. If you don't like it, find another forum to play in. Writing a headline that has nothing to do with the post is completely useless and wastes the time of anyone who clicks on it, especially when we're in this section for discussions and not ads where they don't belong (especially when disguised behind irrelevant headlines). Get used to the way the forum works, and your next post might not sound so ignorant.

    @rdrye...

    I'm new to DP myself but I suggest you familiarize yourself with the forum rules before you defend somebody who's misplaced his thread. Besides, nobody's "slamming" him, he's only being told where to post his ad.

    Good looks...
