First off, thank you for taking the time to read this thread. I've been looking for a good web host, and so far the best ones that I've found are: Start Logic, Host Monster, Blue Host, Host Gator. I'm looking for a server that I can host unlimited domains, 200+ gigs space, PHP enabled, SSL, Ruby, FTP, CGI, Scripts and Forms, etc. Does anyone know who is the best, or who is better, or are they alll pretty much the same.

For 200 GB a space, I would recommend a reseller or a dedicated from hostgator, surpasshosting, or hostnine.

Thats my first choice so far. 200 is more than I need at the moment, but I was just listing some specs that I'd need

Vaff, by your response you mean that every host says their the best? Thats obvious, and thus why I posted this in order to ask others in this forum who may have had experience with different hosts, their opinions

I would advice you to look after a dedicated server with that much diskspace. Honestly, there is NO hosting provider that would offer you that much space and keep the word on it. You might reconsider your requirements or get a tough budged in renting yourself a dedicated server, other ways, get prepared (with any host that will promise you that much diskapce) to get in trouble.

i should probably rephrase my reqs. The 200 gb isn't a req for me at the time, but most everything else is. For sure I need PHP enabled, scripts, and easy FTP access. The basics to start. So far, from everything that I've read and researched, I'm leaning toward hostgator

Nothing wrong with overselling when 99% of your user base use 0.0001% of their actual space and bandwidth. It's just a marketing attempt to get others in.

But over time they will use that space, For images, Files, and Bandwidth will be used up the most.
