I live about 20 minutes from Gillette Stadium, home of the Patriots. I really do not follow sports much, but the past year or two have followed the Patriots on their "Revengeance Tour" against Goodell. It was really fun to watch last year's Super Bowl and the crow that Goodell had to eat in handing them the trophy. According to the local sportswriters, the Patriots have made so many gains in trades and player acquisitions in the off-season that they are significantly better now than they were last year. Of course, Gronk is healthy now and will be back, as well. The predictions are that they will win the Super Bowl again. Could be local hype and you never kn ow who is going to get injured and whether Brady will continue to hold up at his age, but right now, on paper, they look very strong and likely to win again.
I can only hope the Vikings make it since I live in Minneapolis now and the SB is going to be here. I highly doubt it. Either way, I'll be downtown checking out the festivities.
I'd have to say New England just because they are one of the best teams every year and well motivated to win. I am a Seahawks fan but I have great respect for Tom Brady and the Patriots so I'd have to say they make it to the Super Bowl again this year.
Update: Tom Brady turned 40 this week, but seems to be looking good in practices. However, I just learned that he is going to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated and is now subject to that "curse." Stay tuned...
