Who needs $300,000 per month for one site if you can have 1,000 sites making just $300. I'm sure there are people with 1,000 - 10,000 sites making a lot more than $300k.
Guys this article is from September 25th 2006 I guess things changed. Digitalpoint got MUCH more content since then, Shoemoney launched AuctionAds.com so I guess he's not doing adsense anymore (or just about 10% of his earnings). Think of it. Digg is getting bigger and bigger and so on. It's 9 months since then! I don't think it's accurate anymore. Alex socialpacks.com
And then there is Myspace, and many established sites... And yeah, there are now empires that runs 100'000 websites....
Hehe.. I have dating web site too.. Hmm I guess I will beat them up I wish this forum will be on the first place soon.. Good luck guys, you have done great job
Yea, that's an inspiring list - love that some of these sites are 'one man show' type websites going up against big companies with hundreds of employees - eg plentyoffish.com vs. match.com I was watching a vid with Shoemoney and I think he mentioned that he could do alot better by working directly with the advertisers rather than using adsense - he said something like when you have a certain amount of traffic, the advertisers will be lining up - I suspect there is quite alot of truth to this still love adwords and adsense though - a real boon to webmasters big and small I think
I think them people's earnings are fake. This forums post probably earns more than $10,000 per month now. It was earning $10,000 per month around 2 years ago and has grown since then.
Its amazing how that markus guy is running a site on his own.. even though all the earnings are just for him woow
