    I manually added adsense code in template file but now in all the post one more ad unit (gray color) is showing, when i check source code of page there i found no publisher id and ad format. code is as:

    <script type="text/javascript"><!--
    google_ad_client = "pub-";
    google_alternate_color = "FFFFFF";
    google_ad_width = ;
    google_ad_height = ;
    google_ad_format = "_as";
    google_ad_type = "";
    google_ad_channel ="";
    google_color_border = "";
    google_color_link = "";
    google_color_bg = "";
    google_color_text = "";
    google_color_url = "";
    google_ui_features = "";
    //--></script>
    <script type="text/javascript"
    src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
    </script>

    Are you using "free" hosting? Some free hosts ad their own ad units to your pages. If that's the case then I think you are breaking Adsense TOS, you're only allowed adverts from one publisher account on each page as far as I know.

    If you manually edited your adsense code, then you are breaking adsense TOS. You can not edit adsense code.

    what do u mean by manually editing code. I don't alter adsense code and in wp we can add code by using plugins or in the template. (I did 2nd one)

    This one's happened to my sites too, and the problem was that, there was a extra ad unit in the template some where, so all you have to do is, open all files in the templete, like header, footer, sidebar etc etc and try to find this code
