Whooping $97 in a single day using adwords...

i'm earning quite well in adsense. i thought of advertising using adwords. previously my ecmp was 7-8, but when i used adwords, it reached to 15... and i got a whooping increase from $35 to $78 and today $97....
But on the other side i too had to pay for adwords :-(
So i just stopped using adwords, because not happy, that one side i'm putting money and on the other side its increasing in adsense...on overall it comes to same... May be i'm not using adwords properly with keywords. Any suggestion on to continue with adwords or not....

 

Use some of those vouchers out there, you can get them cheap.

 

U should continue usin adwords for creatin a baseee of usersss.. and then when u hve enought users for ur site u can always stop adwords .. i hve done that and it has done wonderrss for meee )

You have to make 3 different ads in adword & add suitable keyword in it..so you get better ROI

 

Well if your ecpm is increasing and not just your revenue then I'd stick with it.Since it's the ecpm it is probably helping to get more money from your other traffic as well though I don't know how. I'd work on optimizing your adwords campaigns and figuring out if what your ROI is and whether or not your just branding.

 

I wonder if it would be worth trying out some affiliate links for that traffic rather than relying solely on adsense. You may find it more profitable.

 

once you get so much from adsense, that means you got hella lot of traffic, that again means lot of possibilities for paid links..

 

So is Google Ok with you using arbitrage in this instance?

Paying for adwords to create adsense earnings.

Will they be ok with users using a different network to buy links to increase adsense earnings?

Using Adsense Arbitrage is not against Google's TOS.

What is important is what kind of website you send
the visitor to. If you set up a campaign to send traffic
to a website with useful content and some Adsense
ads you're doing nothing wrong.

On the other hand if you send people to a MFA-site
(read Made For Adsense) you are doing something
wrong, because you don't provide value to the
visitor+ you return bad ROI for the advertisers whom
paid for the ads.

So, if you display high$$ ads on your MFA-website
and pay little cents to advertise, you're not doing
what Google wants. But I think this is almost
impossible with the new algorithm. Because after
1 visit from the Google bot, you will not be able to
pay just cents.

What is an affiliate doing when he sends people to
his website to promote affiliate programs? He pays
often cents to earn dollar commissions. Another form
of arbitrage. If the website is relevant to the ad and
he offers a quality review to the visitor.

The whole system of Adsense/Adwords IS arbitrage.
People pay money for ads and Google displays them
on relevant websites.

It all comes down to the same rules, offer value to
the visitor. Whatever website or blog you set up.
And update on a regular basis...

Well using adwords and getting it back form adsense is good,because you are increasng the visitors base. More chances of more registration. Try adwords for some time. But using adwords for full time adsense income is really crap.
