    Hello,

I wanted to know if any of you have dealt with the online shop http://www.wholesale-electronics-shop.com/ or heard about them.

The weird thing about them is that they accept only Western Union money transfers for payment and their prices are extremely low (they say they get their stuff from the airport confiscated items in Madrid). However, after sending them an email, they told me that i'll have full protection by paying via Western Union using my credit card. Here is the email:

    Dear Sir,

We can get in our stocks the Apple Powerbook G4 with a 12-inch display at a price of $899.00 (all taxes included).

Regarding our payment method, you have 2 ways to do it... either you pay by cash via WU to our banking agent (you'll receive all the data necesary when placing an order)(we remind you that only authorized personal can verify or receive WU wire transfers - so, at any moment if you think that something goes wrong - YOU CAN REPORT US); or you can pay on-line via www.westernunion.com using your credit card and you'll have FULL PROTECTION just like in all the other credit card processing units.

Your products will be shipped as fast as the payment has been verified to be in the WU on-line checking system. If all is OK, you'll receive your tracking number in 24h (usualy 12h) so you can check the progress of you order at all the time!

If you have any more questions,... please ask away.
    Thanks.
    Have a nice day!

Do you have a definite answer about their credibility?

IMO- No legit company would have WU as their only payment options.

It's a scam. Western Union offers NO protection and neither does your credit card because it is seen as a cash advance, not a purchase.

    From their website:

It's important to note, however, that neither Western Union Money Transfer nor BidPay offer any type of purchase protection or escrow service.

Be wary if the seller is using a free email address or insists on accepting only one form of payment.

Remember that Western Union never acts as a guarantor of an auction buyer or seller's performance.

Domain is also blacklisted, been around for less than a month, and shares a server with 72,030 other websites.
