'WhoIs'es show GoDaddy data for my domain, GoDaddy says they don't care???

I registered www.worldads.ws domain through GoDaddy 2 weeks ago (not a private registration), in 'who is' database for my domain there are no records of me, only GoDaddy's data, as it can be seen in some of the esteemed 'who is' databases:

    http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/results.jsp?domain=worldads.ws
    http://www.register.com/retail/whois_info.rcmx?requestType=validate_challenge
    http://whois.domaintools.com/worldads.ws

I wrote to GoDaddy asking why there is no my personal data next to my domain, the answer I got is the following:

    .................................................................................
"Thank you for contacting Online Support.

Doing a WHOIS on the domain name in question, it appears to be showing without any problems.

    http://who.godaddy.com/WhoIs.aspx?domain=worldads.ws&prog_id=godaddy

Please keep in mind that we are not responding for the content of third party WHOIS lookup tools, and the information show through ours should be correct. Please let us know if we can assist you in any other way.

    Sincerely,"
    ........................................................................................

I clicked on the link, only to see before the Godaddy 'whois' database records on my domain, written:

    .........................................................................................
"The data contained in GoDaddy.com, Inc.'s WHOIS database,
while believed by the company to be reliable, is provided "as is"
with no guarantee or warranties regarding its accuracy."
    .........................................................................................

GoDaddy says they don't care what other 'who is' databases say, only what their 'who is' database says, at the same time they say their 'who is' data-base is with no guarantee regarding its accuracy whatsoever!!!???

I have been thought that you are the owner of the domain if you see your records in the 'who is' databases and I don't see mine. I don't have privacy registration on that domain and I never encountered such problem with my other domains at GoDaddy.

For some non-classic domain extensions you might have to go to registrar's page to get the full whois info on the registrant. I've got a .ws name, too. And it's not registered with GoDaddy, yet I am not able to see the full whois data unless I check it on the actual registrar's page. Nothing to be worried about, you still own the domain name.

So I'm not alone in this, a breath of relief :)

I also encountered a problem with the firm hostmysite.com with a .com domain I registered with them, in my account at their site, in domain's management section, all of my correct data are given, yet in the 'who is' databases as a registrant stands 'NA', my street is correct, my country and phone number are not . I'm still awaiting answer from them on that issue.

It seems that the ownership information for .ws domains is normally not shown. Have a look at:
    samoanic.ws/moreinfo.dhtml?domain=worldads.ws&sponsor=

Go Daddy never said they don't care. That's your conclusion.

Registrars put that disclaimer upfront because they don't want people blaming
them for possibly posting inaccurate information. WHOIS is subject to change
anytime for any reason, especially when they pick up the data from another
    authoritative source.

Isn't there a similar disclaimer in any of your utility bills? They also put a note
for you to contact them if there's any possible inaccuracy.

Rather than rely on WHOIS, log inside your account to find the real accurate
information. If there's something wrong with it, then you contact your domain
    registrar about it.

Then again, I can finally see the domain name's WHOIS info in Go Daddy's site.
Looks like whatever was creating that issue was finally resolved.

Offtopic, but are you able to change WHOIS info on a domain?

Depending on the registrar, they'll change the WHOIS info after you log inside
your account and make any changes within.

usually there is no problem with whois information, but the .ws TLD is notorious for being wrong...owned by GDI, I think you need to use their interface to keep it accurate, and they are the only ones to charge monthly fees for access.
