Hello, On the whois site whoisbucket.com is wrong information of a domain. My name is on the site but it is not my domain on other whois sites my name doesn't stand there. How can i delete this information? Sorry for my bad english Kind greets!
Did you ever own the domain? If so, that site is probably caching it. It'll change eventually. If not, this is a problem with the domain owner and you'll need to contact them.
yes he just said that there was change of ownership.. I think once it refreshes.. wrong info will be remove..
First of all, thank you all for the replies. Yes, but the domain is for more then one year not my property anymore that's why i request that 'metros' will update this website
From his profile, he was last active yesterday: He's reading your PMs, he's just ignoring them. Nobody can help you contact him if he's already reading your messages.
That depends whose laws we're talking here. While ICANN requires every domain name to have complete and accurate information, that only applies to accredited registrars. Unless you have some enforceable agreement with the other party in question, you can't really force them to do anything for you. If I were you, I'd let this go and move on.
I need my info removed aswell from my old domain (3 years now) and still displays my info?? How do i contact "metros" or whatever?
I have the same problem as you... He doesn't even need to remove the info, he needs to update it at least.
It depends on how much you care. You could have a lawyer said him a "firm" letter about why he needs to remove the details, or (as Dave Zan mentioned) let it slide. Well, actually, there are some other things you can do (but not as simple): 1. Start doing some reputation management for your name, to get this site further down the search results. 2. Get a court order to have the link removed from Google search. 3. Get a court order to have the site owner remove your details. 4. Put pressure on the webhost, who can in turn put pressure on him to remove the details. 5. If the site is hosted in Europe then you can use the data protection laws to your advantage for pressuring the site owner (or host). Out of those five, though, I would go for #1 as this is the easiest to do.
I registered to try and delete my personal data, as is my right under EU law. I will let you know about the outcome.
