WHOIS Scripts are complicated to do right. It's not as easy as one thinks. I thought it was easy at first then I realized how truely complicated they are, not many places that have public WHOIS services do it right.

You can compare your script results to mine here.

Your script doesn't seem to always work correctly.
No data displayed for google.com and microsoft.com for example.

For those that might be wondering. WHO is lookups are increasingly important as part of the disavow process.
Google expects webmasters to try and get the links removed themselves from as many of the sites they are on. This involves contacting the site admin with an email request (at least once - 2 or 3 times is better if you don't get a good reply first time)

Having a WHOIS lookup tool that can take a big list of domains and try various archive WHOIS websites and return the owners email details is a real time saver.
Imagine doing it manually for hundreds - maybe thousands of referring domains you need to contact.

Scrapebox does a decent job but some threads seem to get stuck so always start with at least 20 threads running per 1000 lookups. Export as a .CSV fles and append to your link list downloaded from GWM tools or similar.
A tool that does this well en masse would be a great time saver.
Sadly with neg SEO a reality, performing these time consumin and soul destroying tasks to recover your site is becoming more common.

for BIZ, COM, INFO, MOBI, NET, ORG, PRO and US domains, you can get lists of new domains every day from whoisaccess.us. Includes all the whois information in CSV format.

Yeah, whois lookup is harder then it sounds, especially since many whois servers presents data differently and also, are not always synced.

We offer whois lookup with expiration alert as one of many domain/site related services over at domaintower.com
