Hi there, If your backlink strategy is based on creating websites (seo minisites) linking to a main website to promote, you can find many advices on how to proceed to avoid being detected by Google. In general, you will (1) avoid to use Google services on the minisites (avoid to have the same adsense id, analytics id on all the minisites), (2) host the minisites on SEO hosting (different C-Class IPs, private NS, etc). But what to do to avoid being detected by Whois entries? * set Whois entries private through the registrar isn't a solution (it makes Google suspicious) * create different Whois entries would be against Icann's rules or create slightly different Whois entries to stay narrow from Icann's rules * keep the same Whois entries could harm your SEO, as you could be detected In fact, I think Google don't care about Whois Data, because (i) it is very easy to enter different Whois entries (ii) if they would use the Whois entries, it would be a strong incentive to corrupt the Whois entries. That are the reasons why I don't think they will take in account the Whois entries. I also experienced I could create a good reputation based on backlinks from a unique set of Whois entries. Your opinion?
Yes, stop wasting your time creating mini-sites and link schemes or link wheels and work on creating quality unique content for just your main site. Natural backlinks always follow quality unique content follow by proper backlink building methods; such as article writing, and no I don't mean writing one or two articles and submitting them to tons of article directories. Create a unique article for each article directory and submit them only to 1 specific directory; yes it's a lot of work to make 100s if not 1000s of unique articles and submit them to multiple directories but in the long run the relevant traffic they bring and the relevant backlinks will pay off. Remember to link to multiple web pages via your articles as well, including the homepage and randomly changing an internal web page.
