Just want to know. For me, I always looked at results from 1-10 but only first page. Rarely time I did search and looking results beyond first page. How about you? **Sorry for mistyped in title. It should be "When you do Google" but I couldn't fix it.**
I have mine set to show 100 results per search and usually look at the first 3, then skip down to around #10-30 results because I find that most of the top 10 results are sites just good at SEO and usually not the content I'm looking for.
If im researching something I will go as far as I can. The first ten is fine for just a general search though.
It depends on how desperately I want the results. Sometimes i've searched 50 odd pages just to find something specific. Usually only look at the first page though.
I look max 2-5 pages yes, but only if I really need something. The first result is usually all I need!
I often go 5-6 pages without thinking about it, sometimes i go 1000 results till i cant go further of course, i actually find it frustrating that i cant go beyond 1000, whats the point in indexing if you dont make it all possible to find from the returned pages? By only looking on the first page you can miss some real gems, some sites in the top 5 for a search can often be crap, thats why i like to delve a bit deeper.
