Well, I write articles, but I also charge on a professional rate scale of $.35 / word for non-exclusive rights and $.50 / word for exclusive rights, copyright not included w/o a buyout fee. I occasionally work for less, but rarely, and only for very small niche sites with a topic I have a passion for. Other than that I work with larger networks and large niche sites mostly.
