New-Zealand has to be favorites, but personally I think South-Africa will take it.

I'm also a big fan of All Blacks, New Zealand (because of their Haka dance hehe). Thumbs up for them.

I suppose it could be a final 'rematch' of 1995?

Wow, I never though (3 months ago, when I last posted in this thread) that it would be the Boks playing against the English! Everyone wrote England off, but they showed that compasion and experience can take you very far in rugby. Congrats to them, too bad you have to play the mighty BOKS in the final on Saturday.

Atleast you made it to the final, more than any 1 of the other teams can say.
    My prediction:
    England: 18
    South-Africa: 41
The biggest ever win in a wc final
    GO BOKKE!!

I think IF (and it's a big if) we're within a score of the lead going into the last ten minutes then we've got a chance. If it's any more than ten points then I reckon we're toast. South Africa are hot favourites - but then so was Goliath.

Still, we've beaten Australia, we've beaten France and we've got further than Scotland, Wales or Ireland (anybody remember them?) so we can at least hold our heads up in Europe again.

I actually watched the Quarter final of NZ versus France - and can't believe that it was all over for us at the quarters!!! Still, tough team to meet at that level. Our guys have been seriously kidding themselves all this time about how good they are etc. It's a joke!

    I'll be backing England...

It's been funny how many people are suddenly wearing England supporters shirts - jogging, shopping etc. 2 weeks ago they wouldn't have dared!

I think you've mis-read the posts; we're not favourites, people just want us to win! Natural to cheer for the underdog I suppose.
