It was an awesome moment, looking at Australia come back from history, since their last appearance 32 years ago. Gus did make a magic indeed. But the Japanese, really play very well too. They have make alot improvement also.

When you leave the US and hang in a place like Netherlands watching the game with everyone else, you can't help getting into it. In the US, you look at it for a second and switch the channel. I'm not sure why it is, that in one country there is no interest in that sport, and everywhere else people are just borderline fanatic.

The Aussie game does look good. I've gor a £10 bet on Australia, Italy and the Czech Republic all to win today. I'd all but given up on the Aussies, so fair play for coming back!

Heh, "lucky" :p. IMO, Australia was all over Japan for the majority of the match. Posession statistics support this. It was just a shame with Japan's goal however, I don't think anyone would disagree with me in saying that it definitely wasn't a deserved goal. Big props to the Japanese though, whenever they had the ball and were attacking they had me on the edge of my seat. Very, very dangerous.

So how about Cahill and his 2nd goal? :D

Cahill and his 2nd goal are lucky, but it was the hard work result of all Australian team. 2 goals belong to Australian team,
    do you agree with me?

I'm an Aussie in Japan so I was especially happy watching the match, and with the ending.

It was strange watching it - the Japanese commentators were exctatic then in the last minutes it was like they were commentating at a funeral.

Just wish I could tune in online and listen to the Aussie commentary (I tried but couldn't find anyway) so I could at least follow what the commentators say ;)

The US game sucks, it's a tough opponent so early. Once America warms up, it will kick ass and make it to the semi finals.
