My prediction is that it will be 3-0 for Brasil but check this situation:

Australia wins 1-0, Croatia beats Japan 3-0 and we have the following situation:

    Australia: 4-1 6 points
    Croatia: 3-1 3 points
    Brasil: 1-1 3 points
    Japan 1-6 0 points

In the next round Croatia beats Australia 1-0 and Brasil beats Japan 1-0 and the situation is:

    Croatia: 4-1 6 points
    Australia: 4-2 6 points
    Brasil: 2-1 6 points
    Japan 1-7 0 points

And the Brasil is out :) Sweet dreams :)

England always step up their game against better opposition. It was only a few months ago we beat Argentina 3-2. We have the worst group though, the only threat is Sweden, but they couldn't even beat T&T. If we beat our first knock out game, we could have Argentina - will be a good match.

Portugal is playing Iran today so let’s see how things go. I don’t think it will be much of a challenge. :D

It shouldn't be, but Portugal should play a little bit better than in the opening game...

Oh yeah! I watched this match up until 1.30am in the morning. We screamed the house down in the last eight minutes after thinking our World Cup was all but over. I even rang my mate up and we hollored over the phone.

Very exciting stuff! Looking forward to Aus-Brazil match next Monday morning. Game starts at 1.30am this time. errrg!! Think I might have the day off work.

I wish you all the best against Brazil!
One question if you don't mind... Why isn't Josip Skoko playing? I've seen him several times while he was playing in Hajduk Split and he was one of the best players then...

It's time for you to switch sides, don't you love how Leidseplein is going nuts over the Dutch team winning? :D
LOL remember some of the American team's successes in the past World Cups? They can do it again ... trust me :) (we'll see after 9 PM ... )

Well the game Portugal vs Iran looked more like a rugby match than anything else. It was a tough game but I think Iran played dirty which was a bit sad.

    Portugal 2 0 Iran :D

Yes I remember them going to quarterfinals once but I don't think it would be the case now... I hope they will beat italians and then we could have thriller in this group (everbody with 3 points), assuming Gana will beat Czechs (they just failed to score from penalty kick, but the Czechs have a red card)...

Don't get me wrong, I really like "outsiders" like USA, Australia... Croats were outsiders in 1998 and after that everybody respects us ;)

They are simply better. I couldn't believe it but they really are. Petr Cech (the goalkeeper) is Czech best player!

Till today, some of us might notice some new nation playing in this world cup, and as far till today, my own thought, maybe, but i think most of the nation's player did improve alot. The way they play and the way they do passing. Good skills.
