With seven top teams (and the one second string West Indies) set to participate in the Champions Trophy from this month end, which side do you think has the best chance of winning the tournament?

India? Will be playing after a longish break and with issues with the short ball!

Australia? A definite case of having forgotten their aura

South Africa? Hosts, hme advantage, great run of form, balanced batting and bowling. Chokers!

Pakistan? Yes. If the selectors get it right, if there is no in-fighting, if Afridi fires, if openers give a start, if bowlers dont dope.....

Sri Lanka? Great form, winning almost everything, but abhor the quick pitches of South Africa

England? When was the last time they won something consisting of atleast eight countries? NEVER!

New Zealand? Play their shorter version much better than their tests. Whether they play their shorter version good enough to make it to the finals is a question-mark with an inexperienced side of theirs.

West Indies? Yes, they can. So can pigs fly.

    What do you think guys?

Australia's chances will depend on how they play in the seven ODIs in England I think...they have lost the ICC World T20, they lost the Ashes, could not win the two T20Is against England, and this is their last chance to prove themselves before the Champions Trophy....

Oh yes! Waiting desperately for the tournament to begin...it has been a long time since the Indians played anyways!

India, Sri Lanka, South Africa, West Indies, Australia, New Zealand have all won the tournament once so far; only Pakistan and England have yet to win this one...

    think England can win it?

If yuvi, sachin and dravid play to their potential and dhoni plays like dhoni, then INIDIA has a good chance of winning the champions trophy.....:)

Positive thing is that, Indian bowlers have bowled well in south African conditions, so its advantage India for sure.....

I will go with India and South Africa as both team have quality players but I would put South Africa ahead of India because of their home advantage and their recent performances!

Yeah, SA looks good...but they had looked good during the ICC World T20 to go all the way as well..! they usually look good to only lose their way in the semis or the finals!

I think India or Pakistan have a good chance of winning. India is a strong team and they have practiced playing the short ball in nets. Let's hope for the best. :)
