Being Canadian I will obviously cast my vote for my home nation. However, Russia, Sweden, and the U.S. are all threats to take home the gold this year? Who do you think will win?
I'm not sure. I think it's very hard to guess in hockey. As a Norwegian I sure don't hope the Swedes win it Sorry neighbors.
Eeeeh.....can i vote and for Canada and for Russia? =) Hard to decide for a russian person who lives in Canada
I haven't done too much analysis but Ryan Miller could turn things the US way. Still I think it's Canada, Russia and Sweden in the medals.
Well I also will go with Canada they always be strong team and I have no doubt on them. USA and Russia will be a big threat for them.
Ice hockey. If you see a discussion about hockey from major developed countries that experience snow, hockey is ice hockey. In North America, field hockey is primarily a girls sport.
Canada all the way! After the intense loss to the US in the World Juniors I am sure Canada will hit the ice hard for the Olympics - It's national pride and gold medals on the line!
Hockey is the national sport and Canada is hosting the Olympics so they already have plenty of incentive. Canada's incentive was like three feet of snow, losing the World Juniors finals was like another inch of snow.
I'm hoping for Canada-- they have done pretty well in the past, but they've put a lot of money into their athletics this year. http://best.olympicstats.ever.com
