    it might be chcicago because of all the big guns that have allot of pull who are from there. But I would like to see Rio win since it is just such a beautiful city with such beautiful people. Chicago is not and I grew up near Chicago

    Chicago going out was a bit of a shocker.

    I guess it will be Rio- South America has never hosted the Olympics, and they'll probably get it.

    I sure hope it isn't Chicago. Barack is pushing for it but the mayor and all major politicians within Chicago are against it. It's laughable, Chicago can't afford to host the olympics, what are they thinking?!

    It is a bit surprising for me that Rio de Janeiro has won because I thought that others were stronger contenders. However, it is good to see that new cities are being given a chance to host the Olympics. :)
