Yes india is a good team in these days. But Sri lankan players also do well. Now sanath jayasuriya also come to national team with good performance. So this will be an advantage to win Asia cup.
Also Don't ignore Pakistan because they are home team here and have advantages of home crowd. Pakistan is also a good team and after winning Tri-series their moral is up now. Also don't forgot, Srilanka didn't play ODI for few months now. So it may be tough for them.

You can compare Srilanka with Australia. Fact is that Srilanka won the 1996 world cup with young talents only. I am not saying Experince will not work but if team have young players then it can help to win since all boys want to give best from their performance.

yes sanath was young in that time. But arjuna and aravinda did many things in 96 world cup. Specially in final match vs Australia.
