Morkel's hit was about 106 m. Not too sure whether anyone can surpass that. The Windies are out of the tournament, which rules out Chris Gayle as a challenger.

 

Misbah-ul-Haq's hit was 111 m which broke the record of Morkel. Anyways, I thought that Yuvraj would break that record with 6 sixes but looks like Misbah is still leading with 111m.

You are wrong buddy, I just saw on the TV screen (The India vs SA match is going now) and Misbah is still leading with 111m. Lets see who can beat it in semi-finals and the final.

 

It's official now. UV (Yuvraj Singh) has just made the record of biggest six in the tournament and it measures 119m
