Dhoni is here to stay for a long while and so I guess... only Suresh Raina appears to have the best bet to become next Captain from the present lot as he is still fresh and very young.

After Dhoni, Suresh Raina for sure, but it will take at least 6-8 years for Dhoni to retire.

When Dhoni will be retired gautam gambhir will be 34-36 years old, because he is 28 now and dhoni will be indian cricket team's captain for at least 6-8 more years to come.

Exactly... Due to Dhoni's supposed longevity, I guess more than the skill, age factor will be the deciding factor and when Dhoni will eventually retire, Suresh Raina will be well experienced and still be in early 30s! :)

Dhoni is the good caption for Indian team.
But if we have to choose India next caption,
then i will choose Suresh Raina. He has all
the quality to become a good caption or a
    good leader.

Yeah Kohli is an another good option, because he was the captain of under 19 team and they won U19 world cup too.
On the other side he is averaging 48 when he has just played 28 matches and scored close to almost 1000 runs, and that is when he is been in and out of the team, and whenever he got an opportunity he cashed in brilliantly.
