    then L.N mittal
    then Mukesh ambani
    and then again bill gates

    Bill Gates is not the most rich in the word...I think is one mexican guy called Helu...he is the owner of Telemex in Mexico....

    my guess is mukesh ambani should be the richest by the end of 2008...

    possible reasons:

    -appreciation of rupee and depreciation of dollar.
    -value unlocking for mukesh's flagship reliance industries due to demerger of businesses like retailing.
