I finally surrendered to my bad vision genes and got some glasses about a month ago - admitedly I only need them for distance, which unfortunately includes the distance from the couch to the TV. I'm finding that I get far more respect from people when I'm wearing my goggles, they seem to increase the level of "I'm supposed to be here". Kinda like carrying a clipboard. My optomotrist says she's seeing more and more 'computer people' coming in with distance vision issues - so how many of you nerds wear specs?
i wear them, at times i don't.. depends i don't need it really for close vision, i need them to view far away objects
I need to use but i don't use, it doesnt change much anyways, my family don't have problems with that, just my grandma that wears glasses but shes 81 so wot eva!
I've worn them since college...I remember putting them on for the first time, HOLY S, I can see!!! I also now wear contacts. It took me forever to try them b/c I was a puss about putting anything in/near my eye!!
I whear from when i was 3 years old (i whear them at tv and computer mostly) people see me like a nerd and girls find me sexy i love this but i'm sick of them whering for 19 years now ...
