Who was your favorite television character as a child??

What was your favourite television character when you were a child? What did you like about them?

 

The comedian, Red Skelton and we never missed his show. He used to do his own stunts but now is a cripple because of it.

He may have died, I'm not sure.

 

Cool, I loved watching cartoons as a child. My favorite character was Donatello from teenage mutant ninja turtles.

 

I remember Punky Brewster as one of the coolest girls. She was just cool when i was eight. I used to love tomboys. Also there was Arnold from the show different strokes, Zach Morris from SBTB and WIll Smith from Fresh Prince of Bel Air. They were i though at the time define what a cool guy would act. Remember i was like 8 years old

 

I totally forgot about punky brewster! I loved that show too. I'll have to agree with fresh prince, we would watch will smith everday and sing the opening song along with

 

Easy! Ninjas from GI Joe. They were the coolest.

 

The Olsen Twins... when I was a little girl I remember imagining what it would be like to be a twin. It would be like having a 24/7 sidekick. I remember thinking that would be just about the coolest thing ever.

 

I remember playing ninja turtles all the time in our neighbor hood!

 

Jonny Quest was my favorite cartoon. Used to be excited when I knew it was coming on later that evening.

Favorite character was Patrick McGoohan as "Secret Agent." I also really liked the cult sequel, "The Prisoner" and made a point to visit Portmeirion when I was in Wales as that was the eccentric town that The Prisoner was filmed in.
