The overall idea is good, i like that blue, but the gray is too much dark, may be with a lighter one it would render more beautiful!

but I hard to see the blue colour...
I'm speckie, so, it affect my eyes.

 

I like the colors very much but i think in the section where you write :

"My name is Liam Mclaney and I am a web designer/Graphic designer. My site is work in progress so I am sorry for any broken links. "

you may think to put a beatifull picture which can make your site better.

Think about that.

 

You made some nice progress. Good job! Move the “My name…” text below the blue gradient bar and use that bar for the menu items that could be white. In the top, you could try placing some ads. It is always sensible to try placing ads into the header of the site.

 

Looking alot better now, well, to how it first did. Keep tweaking.

 

The layout is neet.. but the background bring white kind of reflects my eyes... may be you should try a light gray on the back

 

site load slow, try to use jpg

 

i think you should change the gray.. to a color which will fit better in the design,

I have actually re-designed my website as I wanted a design that looked more professional and cleaner.

The design is still in progress so all the links are broken. Also, in the huge empty space in the grey box i am going to fill it with thumbnails of my work like the thumbnails you can currently see for featured work and play.

 

Your text looks sorta fuzzy, and your links don't work.

But over all, i think you did a very good job.

Add some Meta Tags, and some H1's to SEO you a bit.

and a good footer would be good also.

It is nice, but the blurry look does easily exhaust my eyes. You should try changing that. Also, your links are not working, but I assume that you are working on that.

Yeah none of the links work yet as I have only just completed designing the index page, Im going to try and make it look less blurry and to add a footer.
