Who wants change in "Solicitations & Announcements"?

    Well, maybe for the people who post misleading thread titles like, "New PR5 directory!" How in the hell can it be both "new" and PR5? It can't. It's a soon-to-be-lower-PR, dropped domain.

    I doubt such a change would be considered - it'll likely increase the work load on the mods trying to clean up the errors.

    Yeah, sure people learn after a few mistakes, but it's not just the same members launching directories.

    Look at how many "announcements" are not posted to the proper category as is. Take this thread for example - looks like it was moved. How many threads are moved regularly? Consider the added work load for the mods/admins. I really doubt it would simplify things as your envision.

    It seems you're able to avoid the threads you're not wanting to read - "New PR5 Directory" is enough for me to know I've got no interest.

    It's easy enough to just move on. If you're aggravated as it is now, I'd imagine it would only get worse with multiple sub-forums and misplaced threads. ;)
