Who wants a sports forum on DP?

Well count me in if you open Football threads. I love if we have Sport forums here same as Politics & Religion.

 

Hey, I have no problem with a sports section.. would organize this part of the forum better either way its good!

 

If Shawn won't even make a Wacko University board , we do not need a sport board!!!

it can fit in well in entertainment i think, but if theres a sports section id like to post in to abuse the indian cricket team.

 

It is the dominant subject in the entertainment section because there aren't enough threads about video games and stuff. Or simply let me put it this way- more guys love to respond to a sports thread.

There may be many threads, but we can't have a forum dedicated to it. Otherwise we'll have a separate forum for PR updates, and YPN coming to other countries. Both of them go into the Google and YPN forums, and I suppose sports is better off in the entertainment section. No reason for it to have a specific forum dedicated to it

 

Start a poll for it and I'll support you

BTW Nino, I think you need to control on the number of emoticons used. Whenever I try to quote your message, I get the error that you have exceeded the number of smilies allowed.

 

I don't think it should be a major concern in a webmaster community.

Where do we draw the line? Sport is important to some people, science to others, history to others etc. My personal feeling is that it is already encompassed in Entertainment.

so i think we dont need sports section for now.
but some ppl like to talk about sports, so they may want to have a sports section cheers

Yeah you always use 4 smiles so we can't use anymore. We have to deleted it in Advance mode.

 

It would be nice but I think DP is mainly for web related stuff not sports ^^

 

Sports would be only good inside the chat forum and just to joke on the posters, as some of friends and I look to do with people posting there but, what else for?

 

Despites the fact that there is already an entertainment forum I would say a seperate sportsforum would be great I would certainly visit it regulairly.

 

I vote yes on a separate sports forum, probably as a sub forum of General Chat like Politics & Religion and Entertainment.
