    This is probably a newbie question, but I'm gonna ask anyway. I am in NO WAY trashing or hijacking this thread, so please don't perceive it that way, but......

    What is the advantage of owning a 10 year-old domain name? I don't see any backlinks nor pagerank, so I assume traffic is 0. Just wondering. I may be interested if there is good reason for it.

    Sorry, I also got one more newbie question. I see proxy sites for sale all the time....What's a proxy site?

    lol, that is why I wanted him to answer the questions because it was being sold as an old domain which looked like it had expired and then renewed. It isn't that old then.
