Who uses Thunderbird?

Anyone use Mozilla's Thunderbird? I was thinking of switching to it from Apples Mail app because I want/need labels at work. Any reviews? Comments?

I downloaded it.. and to be honest it looked basic, didn't have the form design OL does, doesn't have the calendar and appointments, and thought the address book was limited.

I suppose I should give it time, it took me 2 years to move on to OL from OL Express.

I use Mozilla with the built in mail as well. That has a calendar.

I've been using it for 2 years now and I love it. IMO, it's much better than outlook as a mail client.

I'll take back what I said earlier .. I reinstalled it and downloaded all of the cool extensions, and it's much better than expected, I'll keep having a play around and I might ditch outlook someday soon :D

Funny, I just started using it today. Don't have a full-fledged opinion yet, but I will give it a good test and see if it should replace PocoMail or not.

I tried it for about a month and have given up. I'm on a mac and have had some problems with Mail, so thought I'd try it. The main problem I have with it is that it doensn't tie into the OSX Address Book - I like to keep all addresses maintained in one spot rather than in each application. The junk mail filter doesn't seem to be as good as the Mail one either - mind you, Mail has a year of training in its advantage.

Still, if I had to choose between OL and Thunderbird, I'd go Thunderbird any day.

Oh, and I didn't really like how it handled thread grouping. In Mail, I can delete a whole thread at once. In Thunderbird, I'd have to go through each post in the thread to delete it. I never could find a setting to get that one like I wanted it. Also, occasionally when I just used my up-arrow to go through the messages, it wouldn't show them. I'd have to actually click on the messages with the mouse. I like only using a my keyboard some of the time. :)

Still, a very nice email client. Really, they're minor issues.
