No i didn't used paypal yet..... coz its not available in our country. i hope paypal start their service in Pakistan also.
I no longer trust paypal.. They have banned me (why, i'm still not positive), and were going to hold $5,149 of mine for 6-months to cover possible credit-card chargebacks even though over $1,000 of that balance was not from credit card payments and cant have chargebacks - it took threats of complaining to the attorney general's of several states to get my money back.. In researching how to get my money back I came across these sites that really opened my eyes to how they do business: http://paypalsucks.com/ http://www.paypalwarning.com/ http://www.screw-paypal.com
glad to hear you were able to get your money back. i know not everyone is as lucky. i've always feared this with them as well (not that i really ever have any money in my account), but it just sucks they seem to do it so often and without caring.
The majority of online buyers/sellers use paypal not particular my favorite but it's so widely used i have no choice.
I hate Paypal but I've been using them for 6 years. They don't have the strict guidelines which are imposed by banks, yet they think they have the same power (if not more) than banks do with your money. A few years ago my account was suspended for sending over 50 refunds within 48 hours which was apparently 'suspicious'. The fact that they held my money wasn't a problem, but I was unable to do business for 2 weeks which lost me a lot of money and it's extremely frustrating when you're getting hundreds of emails of complaining that they're not able to pay. In the markets I'm in on the internet though, Paypal is used 99% of the time as payment.
