who to report email spam to?

    Hi

I'm continually being spammed and I have traced the spammers e-mail adress via the url being spammed, as it comes from an unknown user, i have also notice that the domain in question is also owned by the same company doing the spamming, both url's do not work & both sites do not work at least for me.

What is the point in spamming line after line of a non-existant site/service?

Anyway i have issued them with a final notice but i need to know who to report them to first :D as their registrar looks like it's relatively unheard of, i certainly don't recognise it.

    sites in question:

broadcastadvertisenow.com - The company that owns the domain below

    www.emailbroadcastauthority.com

below is an extract of the spam, as there is 5 lines of exactly the same...

    -------------------

    http://www.emailbroadcastauthority.com

advertise your web site to 15,000,000 people. free.
advertise your web site to 15,000,000 people. free.
advertise your web site to 15,000,000 people. free.

    -------------------

Thanks in advance for any help.

I get the same message and simply bounce the emails with a anti-spam program and auto-delete them through the spam-learning feature of the software.

I've seen this "company" jump from domain to domain and at one point found out where they were actually from.

i think u should report to the registrar where the domain is registerd. Just see the whois and report there and the domain registration will be cancelled

that the problem, it seems to be a suspicious looking registrar, with an extra long name lol

    Domain Name: EMAILBROADCASTAUTHORITY.COM
Registrar: BEIJING INNOVATIVE LINKAGE TECHNOLOGY LTD. DBA DNS.COM.CN
    Whois Server: whois.dns.com.cn
    Referral URL: http://www.dns.com.cn

EDIT: just looked at the site, its in friggin chineese, so cant report it to registrar for spam unless their support crew understands english lol

Just move on and forget about it.

The effort required to stop this is way more than the benefit you'll get. They'll just move to a new server within 12 hours of being shut down.
