Can anybody help me with the 'follow' button on twitter? If you were a business who should you follow? Why would you follow a certain member? What benefits will you get in following a person?

    thanks and good day.

You should follow people that have over million followers and are in a similar category as you are. So if you have a website and it has information on the subject of basketball. You may want to follow basketball players, commentators or other competitors with similar sites. The reason is that people who are interested in that subject will follow because you because you are following someone popular. This does not mean you should not follow people who do not have large amounts of followers. It is just a good starting point.
It is also nice to see what others that share your same interest in a subject are talking about. So that you have a chance to tweet relevant tweets. Well that's my 2 cents I hope it was a little helpful.

I agree. It could also help if you start from a broad area of interest and then narrow it down to match your specific requirements. Enjoy. It's fun!

If it's on the business then you should try what type of business you are into. What products? There are lots of Twitter members you could follow into. Following them could give you traffic by promoting your site on Twitter.

yes follow your relevant field members...then when you share something they can see it and when they share then you can see it...
so in this way you message forward from friends to friends and so on....

follow people or business you would potentially interact with. without interaction, you won't generate any interest from others.
