Lets think about it... Publishers are claiming that they get up to 40 Cents per click. Lets say You have Xbox ads on your site. The only way WidgetBucks gets revenue is through affiliates CPA. They have no page for Advertisers to "sign up". They have to thus use CPA to get revenue. 5% Affiliate payout sounds fair for Retail products like Xboxes... So lets do some math, If widget bucks gets only 5% for a 300$ Xbox, They make 15$. That would mean at 40 cents per click, 1 in 37.5 clicks must convert. For them to break even. People who go to arcade sites are usually kids that don't have Credit cards. They won't convert. (Possible, but very low conversion %.) How could they POSSIBLY be generating enough CPA revenue to payout their affiliates? I'm not 100% Against Widgetbucks. If they payout, I'm going to start using them. I may not get the full picture, so if anyone wants to shed some light, or mention something that I missed please bring it forward. It seems like 40 Cents a click is quite ... unbelievable. Basically, How could they offer These payouts when Google / Yahoo / Adbrite / And other huge networks can't.
Each category of products will earn you a different CPC. The more the products in that category cost then that typically means more earnings per click. I get 11c per click on Xbox game ads. Also if your clicks don't convert they lower your CPC for that day just a little. If they do convert they give you a little extra per click. I can't say for sure that they are legit but for being part of 7 year old company and my experiences with them so far I have trust in them.
Payment is NET45 - first payment won't be until middle of December. Still, at about 30 cents per click, it should be quite a nice Christmas windfall!
Well, lets keep working and hope for the best! Anyone received any payments yet? If yes, then lets hear them!
I just said - nobody will receive any payment until the middle of December. Payment is NET45 - eg. it is paid 45 days after the end of the month in which the publisher reached $50.
It's from the mpire corporation. So yes it's legit. I have widget bucks on a few of my blogs that are very product specific and it's working great for me.
