who thinks magazines are going to fade away

    Not anytime soon - you cant bring a computer to the sh!tter; well.... you can, but you will look awfully silly :)

    I use online articles from mags on topics i'm temporarily interested in where there is no sense to buy a 12 month subscription.

    Well any important information can be found on the net. Especially for magazines, most of the content in their magazines they put on their website; so many people are just reading all the content online. Yes, it is nice to hold books and magazines in your hand, but eventually they will serve no actual purpose IMO.

    I think magazines will stick around, but I think the printing will be less and less each year. More and more people are turning to the net for all their information; books, newspapers, radio, magazines, etc....

    Eventually we will see a big change in what we can buy at the local news stand, but for now magazines are here to stay.
