Who The Hell Are These Guys?

I have all my domains registered with Namecheap.com but today I got an email from some company called "domainrenewal-online.com" and I just wondered what the hell they are doing telling me my domain is expiring and that if I want to keep my domain I have to register it there.

Is this some kind of con or something? The site does not even have a page rank.

This is the email I received:

It's a pretty common scam...a lot of people fall for it. Some simply transfer your domain to their registry (if they even have one) at a ridiculous yearly rate, and others are more insidious.

These particular guys seem to spam very intensively lately. New kids on the block, playing the same scam as droa.com
