Just signed up and would like to take a sec to introduce myself properly:

Nothing fancy to write here. Grew up in Massachusetts, but born in Texas and moved back from 1990-1994 while I was in the US ARMY.

My hobbies are playing pool, designing anything and everything and Nascar Racing. I have owned and built custom cars as a hobby and partially as a business for the past 15 years.

    My main passion is cars. I have owned over 10 classic cars. 3 Mustangs(65,79,90), 4 Chevelles(72,69,68,70), 1 Van(69),1 Olds Cutlass(69),Chevy Pickup(53) just to name a few.

I am good at metal fabrication and designing custom parts.

I started working in 1986(age 16) in manufacturing. Started at the bottom and worked my way to the mid level. I then joined the ARMY (90-94) where I was stationed in Texas all 4 years doing electronics on a weapon system.

In 94 I jumped back into Plastics Manufacturing and become production supervisor. I did that for 6 years, then decided to pursue other ops.

I started a printing company designing car show logo's and printing them on magnets(dash plaques). That's when I got online again. I had someone design me a website, and I was hooked. I learned how to maintain it myself and got good at it. The business went really good, and the specialty niche I was in was targeted, bringing me a ton of business. Problem was ithat it was labor intensive and I wasn't making enough to go full time, and it took all my free time. I sold in 2001. I was still working in production at that time.

In late 2001 me and my father started an offline speed shop sellling aftermarket parts for hot rods. Business went ok and is still in business today, but I got out of it and just do the website.

I currently work for an electrical contractor doing sales and job estimating. I have worked for a few custom car builders in the meanwhile, but realized that when my hobby became my job it wasn't fun anymore.

My newest venture is a site that caters to IMers designing ecovers, banners and more. I do not consider myself an ecover designer, but more as a solutions provider.

Still looking for the "holy grail" of business ideas to start another online venture.

Ok, probably too much info for an intro:eek: , but oh well. Look forward to posting and learning. I have much to learn.

    Thanks,
    Keith
