Seriously telling, i dont like blending of ads on my site..

Instead I like catchy colors so that visitors get attracted and click if they want. These days the ads have attractive/catchy titles so definitely better CTR..

Blending of ads is like clicking accidentally on the ads..

Anybody doing same like me

i tried using contrasting colors so the ads stand out and i didnt notice any change in CTR.. i changed them back to blended just because they look better.

Blending ads doesn't mean you're trying to get accidental clicks. Blending your ad unit, sometime, is much better than using bright and annoying colors to get attention of a visitor. Instead, it may scare your visitor. lol

i dont mean annoying or bright colors..

Just different color than the usual theme.. non-blending ads..

Any possibility of getting banned for accidental clicks on "blending ads"

You've to redefine the meaning of "blending ads" here. You won't get banned for blending ad's unit if you follow the guidelines given by Adsense. In no way blend your ads which, somehow, 'force/ask' visitors to click your ads.

I myself have faced accidental clicks considering ads to be internal links.

Also did a test using catchy colors, but same result as Tearabite's, I think just keep them blended and look for the best placement.

Best placement is mostly ATF areas and inside post area.

Remember where people look is where they click. No one looks at your footer all ads go waste there.

People read your content so put ads around or inside the content and you will get max CTR.

Ok here's a tip i found works really well.

Make your clickable ad title blue, and the reason is it's the default color of clickable hyperlinks on the web and people subconsciously associate it with "something to click".

Make the clickable URL a gray along with the ads non-clickable text, this way it blends the whole ad unit to just look like a link with a description underneath.

I've found this combination achieves the best CTR in "most" situations.

Yes, I agree 100% :) Especially when blue is used for the horizontal link unit on top of the pages :)

my 2 cent; your CTR depends on adsense; if the ads are target user will click or else user will exit your page.
