Technically, everyone uses some terminal command input - it just usually has a RAM hoarding GUI slapped on top of it. (COUGH, windows...)
You can't ignore DOS, DOS is base of the Windows... I'm using 6.22 on vmware machine for old memories
DOS is not the base of Windows since XP onwards. Although perhaps I should follow suit and get it running in vmware for old times sake.
Yea, I remember when Win95 came out. I was just a kid back then, but now that I am young adult... my choice would be XP any day over DOS. However, I am taking 2 programing classes at a upper level college that requires me to use DOS. So to answer your question... yes I do use DOS, but only for academic purpose. I worked on Vista in the beta stage, but don't plan to upgrade. It ate up my system resources too much. I agree, Vista users probably don't even know what DOS is. LOL!!!
Yes I do, I accidentally selected No, but I use it a lot when using certain features on Windows 2000 Server Edition. We also have to use at University. Also if I wanted to be cocky I could say most people use it, that is if you use 95/98/ME/2000/XP/etc .
I have an old macine which runs dos and 3.11 - I use it for playing old games that don't work with dosbox.
hi, I am still use dos based Format, Fdisk command from dos prompt on my PIII machine, which is use accounting purpose.. thanks
I still use DOS to check my available space and to repair hardrive problems resulting from improperly shutting down the computer.
