I know many of us do. It's easy to get into certain menus, such as regedit, or do a ping.

Do you find yourself using it otherwise?

I still use it all the time. I'm a systems administrator by trade so I use it all the time to ping, access directories, etc. almost everyday. Can't say that I like DOS much, but when I have no other choice I'll still use it to get the job done....

I also still use DOS. I think we should not forget it. It is the basic system, what if your computer suddenly crashed and you have to manually recover the files.

I think its probably an age/experience thing, ie. all of us that are say 25+ who have been using pc's since we were kids, grew up with DOS.

If you were 17 NOW I imagine that good 'ol dos would be far less relevant.

and yes, I am firmly in the 25+ agebracket, so I not only use DOS daily, but still even have old 386's, Amiga's, C64's and ZX81's knocking about!!
