Who says signature links are worthless..!!

Sigs do help.. but not very much

 

Personally I dont consider signature links in forums useless I am getting backlinks from it and it is helpful to me in getting traffic as well

 

If that forum you are posting is similiar thematic to your links what you added to your signature, than I think they can't be worthless, I think they have some power.

 

I would not say they are worthless at all, I have so many backlinks from DP threads giving me PR juice it's crazy. Granted I can't say it helps much with SEO, but still

 

it depends which forums you are in and what your signature says...

 

I think it help but not very much , low impact

 

They add up, I can see in my stats that ppl are clicking through from this forum as well as a few other webmaster forums I'm part of.

 

signature links are forums are a good way for building links, its all depends upon your business nature, its obvious that an SEO its worth, I have practiced this tactic and was very successful for my company to increase traffic through forums by leaving a link in my signature.

 

I totally agree with you I can even see backlinks coming from do follow forums with has high PR like DP whenever I check my backlinks so I guess it really helps in a way

 

I think as long as they are not nofollow and they are combined with other methods, forum signatures are useful.

 

the thing about forums is PEOPLE are reading them! The thing about PEOPLE is that they FOLLOW links... the thing about PEOPLE FOLLOWING links makes the nofollow tag pointless

 

SIg. links in high alexa rank forums are a very good way to derive traffic to your site. This all depends on PR and Alexa rank of forum.

 

IMO forum links can help improve your website's reputation in the forum and maybe in Google as well. Specially if its related to the forum. Of course the quantity and quality I think counts as well.

Forum signature are indeed very useful in deriving traffic.
I have a signature link on a large entertainment forum and I got alot of traffic from them.

 

Of course dofollow signature links are very effective in SEO and have a lot worth

No! its stupid say that Forum Signature are worthless! it generates backlink when if you use them for longer time

 

I don't think so that Signature links are worthless because Forums always provide updated information to users as well search engines, so i think that forums are good to search engine crawls.

 

Forums signatures are very effective once you are active on that forum and have a good reputation
