    I choose NO. You can get lot of traffic from them and many backlinks, when you search link:http://url at Yahoo You will see. Yahoo count your link on each post.

    Signature links r not worthless. But it's just not very efficient if you are the only person posting them. However, if enough people like your website to post links (signature or body) then it starts to snowball.

    Remember to modify your signature links over time to hit other keywords. I think Google is looking for some variety on the subject matter.
