    hello all
i posted a while ago about my first ever domain purchase ... astampdealer.com and someone said to watch out as it can become addictive ........... THEY WERE RIGHT :D

now just added another 2 and wondered if you think they were a good or bad investment

    1/. aquoteforyou.com and aquoteforyou.co.uk ( A Quote For You )

a google search gives around 260,000,000 results ... thought they would be great for insurance companies ???

2/. adropshippingcompany.com and adropshippingcompany.co.uk ( A Dropshipping Company ) .. having done a little research i have found that dropshippers are companies that are used by a number of people who sell items on places like ebay amazon etc and it looks quite a competitive market .... could be a good one to develop

wondered if you can give me some feedback on these as i dont have much experience and want to know if i am on the right track

    regards

Oh yea i agree, domain purchasing is addicitive. I just purchased 16 domain names in 4 days :D

As for your site, i think the 1st one sounds good and will give $$ but is kinda long. Go for shorter names. No idea abt 2nd.

You should try google with quotes! "aquoteforyou" = 81 results
    "adropshippingcompany" = 0 results :(

I see they are reg,d today at Tucows, do they have a grace system whereby you can give them back for credit's? If not you have wasted your money IMO.
As you are new to this game here is some advice. Before you buy any domain do the research i.e.
Google the phrase in quotes! If you do not do it this way you get every entry on the system that has the words quote/you/for/a in any order.

    Check the keywords frequency: http://tools.seobook.com/general/keyword/#results

Cheapest is not always best! Always reg with a registrar that gives a grace period i.e. Moniker.com (4 days grace) Then if you have second thoughts or regret the purchase you can give it back and use the credit's to purchase something else.

I hope the above helps. We have all made mistakes when we started out in this business. I look back now on my first 10-20 reg's and say to myself "What the hell were you thinking"?

Good luck with any future reg's......And yes it is addictive! :D

You're not the only addict.. I'm going through this too now that I figured out how easy it is to buy one with Paypal. :D
I know nothing about the worth of domain names yet but the keywords seem ok.

A Quote For You: 77,900 results. Just put up some content and see how it goes. :)

If your addiction continues try using https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal I found it to be very helpful.. even comes up with good domain name ideas.
