    Yes freewebspace is the owner.

But he is a reputable member, might be removed by mistake.
    PM him. :)

    haha :D
From my experience all user do that by mistake. I can't understand how it's possible? Nothing removed by mistake, only designer credit remove? It happens a lot for my templates ;)

And I have another experience, I found a site that removed my OS Designer link. I have emailed him about that and he said that site is still under construction!

One thing i can not understand is if they want the links gone, why don't they Email the owner of the design and work out a price to remove the links. I did that on a previous template i used.

What a strange year it's been in the directory industry. lol

All the more reasons why people do not want to sponsor themes, cause most users just remove them thinking its cool and nothing legal can be done about.

    Shame.

I don't bother with people that remove links from my templates since the rest (90%) keep links.
Why ? Because I do not put 3 or 4 stupid links in the footer. I have hard time putting 2 in there ;) and I despise templates with 3 or 4 "sponsored" links in the footer. Put those sponsored links in the sidebar with possibility for removal and people will actually leave footer alone ;)

I also hate how free templates have 3-4 links in the footer, sidebar, topbar
    greed
i wouldnt use these templates ever and Im sure others think the same

I think the value of these links is very low now anyway
I noticed a lot of directories relying on template links have lost pr

using or not using is your decision but if you use, then you need to follow the license under which they are released.

Actually there is no such license technically , and i am sure no on can sue any either on such non-existant license. IF there is any license like that what is it called ?
