Bing is slowly taking over a larger portion of the search community. They've partnered with verizon wireless (mobile searches) and a few other companies/web sites. At least for a few of my ecommerce websites, Bing provides about 20% of the traffic, as long as you optimize your website for the VISITOR you should be find. A site that has good unique content and has decent backlinks your rankings will be find in Google and Bing.
I'm actually surprised that people are still asking this question, even after the advertisement campaigns by Microsoft
Bing is owned by Microsoft, and they just partnered with Yahoo also to power Yahoo's search results. I think we may have a winner here. It is high time there is some competition for Google in the search marketing arena.
Once a long time ago Novell Networks sat atop the infrastructure world of networking, and everyone said they would never fail. Microsoft toppled them. I remember their people telling me that Microsoft was't a competitor Once even longer the train industry sat atop the transportation of all products industry. They said that trucks were not a competitor. Everything waxes and wanes. . . so to will google. Just sit back an watch the show. Google will come and Google will go. me
