i have visited Bing.com right now. I was quite intrigued with this search engine cos member of DP are talking on it. Is this a new search engine? There's one thing that i wanna ask seriously, I have seen Republic of the Philippines on the upper portion of the site. What does it mean, is this owned by a Filipino? or the country appears when the viewer has the IP address from the Philippines?
Okay.. Thanks for the Info. Now i know. I have also read some forums regarding Bing.com then there i found out that it's owned by Microsoft. But why is it that there's a Republic of the Philippines link on above?
You know you could have Googled a bit about your questions and you would have surely found your answers lol But seriously it should be successful for the fact that we need competitors in market for a fair trade
There results are to processed Google's are raw and are ranked on there PR system nothing at the moment is going to beat Google and I wouldn't be shocked if someone can't build a better search engine than Google cause Google have the money and the brains to stay ahead in the search game.
Well I think bing's Search speed is pretty fast The only problem with bing right now is they did not indexed all my sites!!!
bing detected your country. if you came from US, it will appear link to US. if u came from India, it will show link to India.
Of course....Microsoft owns bing. Btw...I have just noticed that Bing is given PR of 2 by google! Do you think the rank is fair? Should not Microsoft file a suit against google for trying to degrade its search engine, citing the reason that it never asked for a rank from them! Regards, RightMan
Well, depends on what you consider failing. If you are saying that failing is never catching up to Google, you are probably right. But if gaining share of search is Microsoft's metric, then they have already succeeded (at least thus far)
