The 500's are v-8's and the 600's are v-12's. (My little 3.5 V6 has more HP. ) And I agree about the sound, FB.
, nice to meet you! Did I mention I am about to buy a red Ferrari? Fancy a ride? Nice to know that with some girls we can seriously talk about cars too!
Is that with your online earnings uca or are you just trying to impress me? I'll have a ride.. can you ship it to Australia?
I'm trying to impress you, I won't lie, nor would you care, right? Anyway, we could have arranged to meet in November or so next year in Sydney if I wasn't going to be in the area on my honeymoon!
I have owned couple of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus when I was younger but it is nothing that I buy now. These cars are great for picking up girls but they are terrible when it comes to quality and reliability. These cars are not practical and difficult to drive in daily traffic. My first Lamborghini was a Miura, the engine oil will start to boil as soon as you were in traffic, you had to drive fast to cool the engine. I owned both Ferrari 308 and Testa Rosa, very unreliable cars with very expensive service. The 10,000 KM service cost as much as a cheap car. Lotus is such a bad quality that all your instruments start to swing every time you turn a corner but handling was perfect. I was thinking to buy any way a new Esprit in 98, took the car for test drive, the hood opened and started to vibrate, pulled a side to close the hood, the sales man pulls the handle to open the hood and the cables breaks and had to drive back slowly to dealer with hood half open. needles to say I didn't buy it. The last car of this type type that I owned was a Lamborghini Diablo in 1998 when I was in Belgium. It was difficult to get in/out of the car. When you were in the car, your view in front and back was horrible and very difficult to know where the car starts or ends, so it was almost impossible to park in the city. The only practical use was to drive it from my own parking to the restaurant where they always had reserved place in front for such cars. I got rid of it after 5 months. I am older and hopefully wiser now, so I collect mostly old classics instead of wasting my money on those cars. My latest interest is big engine, 1970s cars.
What a bankrupt/show-off/capitalist you sound... Just kiddin' gworld, you gave us some interesting details! Nice car owner story... OK, I'm off to the Stratosphere for dinner, with a cab unfortunately... See you tomorrow...
gworld - those cars aren't meant to be used for daily drivers! lol They are meant for driving on open roads, not around the city.. I know repairs/services/parts/insurance is expensive, hence why you dont buy one unless you have 'spare' money to maintain the car. You probably bought older models, hence the problems. Im sure a 2000+ model of any of those cars mentioned would not have too many mechanical problems
I can not say anything about 2000+ cars since as I mentioned I don't buy those type of cars anymore (I don't think a 47 year old man looks good in a red sport car. ) but when I bought my cars, those were new cars. I know what you say about open roads but how do you get out of the city or what do you do when you arrive at your destination, change the car outside the city? Look at the Ferrari or Lamborghini that are for sale, why do you think that it is only used for 5000-10000 KM in 7-8 years? The German cars MB, Porsche are much better because you can use it on the road and in the city.
your name always reminds me of male models wearing underwear i dont have a car yet...but i got some sweet nikes.
Gotta get myself a new set of wheels... can't afford a new car, so I am trying to pick between a 2004 Honda Civic or a 2000 Audi
lol.. hey that wouldnt bother me Fryman if you want a Honda get an Integra Type R with the VTEC engine, they sound sweet
It is a good car. I think there is 2 type of engine for that car. If you can, get the bigger engine which I think is 1.8 L. In my opinion Audi is better than Honda, I don't feel safe in a Japanese car.
I disagree strongly there Honda make extremely high quality cars. The Japanese make some of the best affordable sports cars in the world.. they arent meant to be luxury cars
