Hey, I purchased my first CB product, i'd be interested to see what people have, how they are doing etc. Thanks
So you're looking for ways to promote it? Hang on the forums and you'll swallow tons of valuable information shortly. Al.
Top seller http://farmvillemafia.com #2 http://coldhardypalmscentral.com #3 http://freshwaterdiscusfish.com
I'll check them out - looking to see what is working best for people. Also, if you'd like to sell then just let me know
Man, you have short sales pages but they don't really look bad. What kind of overall conversions are you having with these? But as you may not be getting decent number of hops (you have zero gravity), tell us what is your visitor to sale conversion ratio?
I have http://www.howtocuthairforbeginners.com/ not got time to do more split testing and updating to develop it atm due to uni exams >.> But plan on doing a good set of split tests to push up the conversion.
Pretty good. Its on there for 2 years already. Its not a killer product, but it accompanies my other marketing nicely.
All new sites, farmville has a gravity now with new design of site last week, about 75-100 hops daily, only had 2 sales so far in a week, 1 affiliate and one by me. Sold 2 discus guides , sites will be redesigned soon as will the coldhardy palms site, sold 2 of those also since launch. I agree need more text on site.. I am a newbie as a vendor and just learning the ropes.
How are people creating products and marketing material? Using content writers off DP? I'm thinking of creating my own products but have always just purchased them in the past.
Good luck with your product Grant. @mdc2727: No, I didn't say that your pages don't look good. I personally feel that pages don't need to be a mile long. They should just be straight to the point. Good luck for the sales. For the palm one, add some testimonials, a better product description and reasons why the product is special (or maybe portray your product's advantages in testimonials. And get a better design! Hire a PSD designer here and then get it converted to xhtml/css for cheap. In case of my sites, I have spent the most time on 2 things. 1. Sales Copy 2. Design (in the order of importance) You don't need a very flashy design but you lose a lot of money because of poor designs.
Proper market research to find out the markets needs along with researching content to create the actual product.
ALL HARD WORK...writing, site, design, cover rendering, banners, sales copy...i do most of this myself. Outsourcing is good, but to be honest, i am perfectionist and i rather prefer it my way.
The product creation can all be outsourced, there's tons of skilled writers. I prefer Elance.com to outsource my ebook reports and all the writing, they have a great system in place for payments -- Mastercard Pyonner that you can always fund easy through any bank or withdraw money at any ATM. Waiting to see when Clickbank is going to release these cards since I am pretty fed up going to the bank to deposit checks every now and then. Al.
